Yea! “She Said Yes” is bottled and ready to go! This green apple white grape blend is semi-sweet and delicious chilled. Find a nice front porch evening or a gentle rainstorm and enjoy!
In the meantime, we thought we would post some customer feedback:
Ed and Teresa (Rapid City, SD) emailed: “The visit was great—enjoyed the tour and the wine tasting — you and George (Phil’s dad) were great hosts and you have a beautiful place and business. The wine is excellent.”
Julie (Laurens, IA) blogged: “ This evening I opened a terrific wine from “Birdsong Vineyards”. The title of the wine is “She Smiled”. I could not think of a better name for this wine. [T]his wine is great just by itself. But oh … I would love nothing more than to have strawberries dipped in white chocolate with it. Or perhaps a lightly marinated salmon that would be slowly grilled on a cedar plank. If you can get your hands on this wine; enjoy!”
Thanks Ed, Teresa and Julie! We appreciate your feedback and support!

We hope this entry finds you in good health and spirits! We thought you might like to know that "She Laughed" (a peach/white grape blend) is bottled and available. Donna wanted to make a wine for her parents’ 50th anniversary. As this wine approached bottling date, Donna took a sip and with great delight, “She Laughed.”
We have also bottled our cherry wine and are open to name suggestions for this fine beverage. Who knows? There may even be a token of our appreciation if we choose to use your name-idea.
In the meantime, we plan to attend the Great Dakota Wine Fest in Vermillion, South Dakota on August 23rd and 24th. You will have the opportunity to taste wines of South Dakota (including, of course, those of Birdsong Vineyards). For more information check out http://www.greatdakotawinefest.com/

We now have our first wine on the market — “She Smiled.” The name slipped into existence when my mother-in-law tasted this wine. As a non-wine drinker, she tended to make a sour-taste-face after each sample. Not this time! She tasted this wine and “She Smiled.”
